A GREAT KAROO SAFARI

Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape, South Africa

It's been a great first quarter to the year with no signs of slowing down. There are some very exciting plans in the pipeline for Mount Camdeboo in 2018, with the highlight being that they will be going 'Big Five' during the course of the year with the introduction of elephant and lion. Mount Camdeboo are thrilled to welcome these majestic creatures, which will undoubtedly add great value to guests' safari experience.

GOING BIG FIVE - INTRODUCING ELEPHANT & LION

Records show that elephant has always been indigenous to the area, being an animal that can live in habitats ranging from deserts to forests, as long as there is clean fresh drinking water and shade. We are delighted that Mount Camdeboo meets all their habitat requirements and are confident that they will thrive on the reserve. In addition to the elephant, lion will be introduced later during the year.
